About lab director

Professor Amin Golzari Oskouei founded the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research Laboratory (AIMLResearchLab) in 2023. He is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University, Iran. He received a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from the University of Tabriz in 2018 and 2022, respectively. He is internationally recognized for his advances in the Unsupervised Machine Learning Method, including the first soft clustering algorithm based on feature-weight and cluster-weight learning – a robust clustering method against bad initialization and high feature dimensionality.Amin has published over 10 publications with over 200 citations and an H-index of 6. In 2016, he was ranked 1st among the 40 bachelor students candidates. Also, he was ranked 3st and 1st among students in master’s degree and Ph.D., respectively. In 2018, the Radio and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran broadcasted a report about his project called “Smart Navigation System and Smart Advertising.” Amin is an associate editor and reviewer of several AI journals, including Applied Soft Computing, Information Sciences, and Applied Intelligence.
